Preview of Advanced Custom Themes

Here is a preview of what we are working on with themes (Custom templates in iPoint). We are working so that any possible custom template you had in iPoint is possible in Smackdab as well - AND making the process easier to build your theme. Lots of price customizations possible, really giving you the keys to the castle. Enjoy!

Update to Pushing Items from iPoint to Smackdab

I messed up in the video.

To push select items, you have to go into each item and push them one at a time.

The button in the Item List pushes everything over (not just what you searched for, like I said in the video).

We originally were going to to have it just push the items that are showing, but there is too much dependent data (Accessories, labor, chart of accounts, etc.) that it became a royal mess trying to do it. So the button in the List view pushes everything. I'll get that message clear in iPoint so there isn't any confusion moving forward.

Feedback Needed! How Should we Show Attachments (like spec sheets) on Proposals?

Hey All,

We need some advice. I've got 4 designs here of how we can show attachments (spec sheets, instruction manuals, etc) on the web proposals. Please comment on which is your favorite (A, B , C, or D).

I'd also love feedback on if you'd like the attachments to show on the Printed proposal. If so, would it be:

A hyperlink on the PDF
Included as a Separate Attachment on the email
Something else?

Customize Your Proposal List Views

Also, we are ready for people to start testing and playing with syncing products from iPoint into Smackdab. Right now categories aren't syncing with the product, but the other stuff should - price, description, QB accounts, etc. Check it out and let Smackdab support know any issues you run into.

The Smackdab Managed Product Library keeps growing, and your introductions have been the single biggest driver. Lutron and Mountain West Distribution are the latest wins and both came straight from this community.
